This notice explains how personal data is handled when you visit behindthecourse.com or buy one of our products.
Who is responsible

What we collect and why
- Purchase data (name, email, country, order details): collected by Paddle at checkout so your order can be processed, taxed and delivered, and so we can support you. Legal basis: performance of a contract.
- Support emails (your email address and what you write): to answer you. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in helping customers, or contract.
- Basic technical data (IP address, browser, pages requested): logged by our hosting provider to run and protect the website. Legal basis: legitimate interest.
We do not see or store your full card details. We do not sell your data, and we don't use advertising or tracking cookies.
Who receives your data
- Paddle.com, our reseller and Merchant of Record, which processes payments, tax, invoicing and refunds. See Paddle's Privacy Notice.
- Netlify, which hosts this website.
- Google (Gmail), which hosts our support email, and Google Fonts, which serves the fonts on this site.
These providers may process data outside your country, under their own safeguards.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept for as long as needed for tax and accounting obligations (usually up to 7 years). Support emails are kept for up to 2 years after the conversation ends.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your data, to object to or restrict its use, and to complain to your local data protection authority. To use any of these rights, email behindthecourse.help@gmail.com.
Cookies
We don't set advertising or analytics cookies. Paddle's checkout may use cookies that are strictly necessary for processing payments securely.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS, and payments are handled by Paddle's secure checkout. We limit access to customer data to what's needed to support you.
